I am honored to serve the Village of Carol Stream
- I am a proven hands-on leader who has proudly served the residents of Carol Stream. I'm not afraid to get in the trenches and get my hands dirty. By doing this I have seen the needs of our community and can answer our residents’ questions from first hand knowledge. These have been invaluable experiences and make me a better educated leader.
- I've taken on tough issues while on the Village Board and am not afraid to make the right decisions. I am proud of the work I've done on the board the past eight years. There are still challenges ahead of us. Carol Stream needs strong leaders that understands our residents, fights for them and works hard every day to make our town a true Community. The residents of Carol Stream count on me to be their voice.
- I have 10 years municipal government experience having worked for the Carol Stream Park District in supervisory positions. This gave me valuable insight how a government agency works from the decision making levels to how it impacted the residents. I had the privilege to interact with thousands of residents each year.
- Carol Stream will remain fiscally sound, debt free and always have a balanced budget even in the toughest economic times. We will continue to work with local business owners, property owners and property developers in round table discussions promoting our industrial park and many shopping centers. Our focus will remain to promote our town as a destination for new businesses and work to retain our current business partners.
- I love living in Carol Stream and I want to make it better for everyone. I will remain visible and approachable. Communication is important to me. I encourage you to ask questions or tell me your concerns.
- I promise to use my common sense and integrity when making all decisions. I don’t believe in “but we’ve always done it this way.” I will continue work to find the most efficient ways to do things.
- The Village's emergency preparedness and readiness remains a priority. It is important that our staff continues to be highly trained to handle anything. We will continue to utilize our trained volunteers to help during times of need.
